  “Are you ready, sweetie?” My wife asks, laying her chin on my shoulder.

  “I am. Have you called my brother and Juliana?” Of course, I can’t help but laugh as I remember how their two hellions pranked me last week.

  “They’re all set, as are Felicity and Parker. I’m so glad Shaynah and Blake are able to come, too. It will be a tattoo family party.” Star still makes my heart skip a beat. She’s like fine wine and only gets better as the years go by. The way she looks at me always ignites a flame inside me.

  “It’ll be nice to see them all, but I can’t wait to get your ass to myself in that room. Whoever had the idea to take turns watching the kids so each couple gets some alone time is a genius. I’m going to ravish you!”

  She bites my earlobe before whispering, “You have that backwards. I haven’t tasted your sweetness all week because of all this planning.”

  “You woke me two days ago with your tongue in my pussy,” I remind her, and when she gives me that half-grin at me, I instantly get wet.

  “Unless you’re under me, it’s been too long.”

  “Why must you say things like that when you know we have to go?”

  “Are you squirming at the thought of sitting on my face?”

  “If you don’t quit…” One hand grips the back of my neck and the other cups my ass, pulling me closer. Her tongue wrestles with mine as the taste of her vanilla coffee hits my senses. She lifts me, so I’m sitting on the counter and moves between my legs. I cry out when she stops our kiss, a knowing glint in her eyes as my breasts rise and fall while I try to draw in air.

  “That was unfair and torturous.”

  “I didn’t hear you complain as I was doing it. In fact, I do believe you were seconds from begging me to take you. Wouldn’t want to mess up your pristine kitchen, would we?”

  “What was the point of getting me all hot and bothered if you weren’t going to do anything more than kiss me?”

  “I want you drenched when we get to our room,” she says with a wink then walks away. “Come on, baby. We don’t want to miss the cruise.” Oh, she’s in trouble now. I plan on being the demanding one tonight, and with the little number I picked up with the help of the girls, she won’t be able to resist me. Not that she ever has, whether I’m naked or in ratty pajamas, she’s still trying to get at me.

  I’m forever lucky that I’m loved by her.
